Philosophy

Like many things, there is more than one way to maintain your community’s storm water infrastructure. Each companies’ philosophy is built around things such as their resources, experience and goals. At StormWater Pro’s we stand behind our vision, “Conserving Water for a Sustainable Future”. With this vision we utilize our combined years of industry experience and the changing storm water climate to create the most effective, affordable, and sustainable solutions.

It is important to first understand the different structures in your community. See image for an in-depth description of the different structures.

Determining Repairs

Deciding if a drywell or catch basin needs maintenance or repair is subjective. It's like a car; there's no specific mileage for changing oil or replacing brakes and tires. The same goes for your stormwater structures.

Repairs may be necessary for damaged grates, cracked concrete rings, or rusting brackets. However, it is important to determine if these repairs are critical during the current inspection.

StormWater Pros' engineers are well-educated and have a unique perspective, which helps them fully grasp how things work. They use this knowledge to make repair suggestions that take all factors into account. As a result, our engineers can often save communities money, especially when it comes to long-term maintenance plans spanning 3-5 years.

We provide a site map and inspection report that are important pieces to include with the proposal to give your board and community a more complete understanding so they can feel good about working with StormWater Pros.
